Jinawi Training in the Inter-University Excellence Center (PUAPT) Program
On August 19, 2024, the SmartAgri team had the opportunity to participate in Jinawi usage training, as part of the PUAPT (Pusat Unggulan Antar Perguruan Tinggi) program. The training took place at the Laboratory of Environmental Engineering and Agricultural Buildings, part of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). This event aimed to enhance agricultural productivity by leveraging modern technology in farming practices.
Jinawi is designed to provide real-time information about important soil nutrients, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and soil pH levels. By integrating various sensors with the RiTx Bertani Android application, Jinawi offers precise fertilization recommendations tailored to the specific needs of crops. This technology is expected to significantly increase crop yields while minimizing environmental impact.
