SmartAgri UGM Strengthens Research and Industry Collaboration on Day Two of INAGRITECH 2025

Jakarta – The participation of the Smart Agriculture Research Center (SmartAgri) of Universitas Gadjah Mada in the INAGRITECH 2025 exhibition continued with high enthusiasm on the second day of the event, Wednesday (30/7). The activity held at JIEXPO Kemayoran Jakarta created an interactive atmosphere between the SmartAgri team and various attendees, ranging from academics, industry players, to visitors from the international community.

At the SmartAgri booth located at A303-01, Hall A3, the team showcased a number of leading technologies in the field of precision agriculture, including sensor-based environmental monitoring systems, IoT integration for crop cultivation, and cloud-based software that supports efficiency in agricultural decision-making.

Various discussions and question-and-answer sessions took place throughout the day between researchers and visitors who were interested in the campus's approach to designing technology based on field needs. This enthusiasm reflected growing public awareness of the importance of technology adoption in the agricultural sector, particularly in the context of adaptation to climate change, resource efficiency, and sustainable production.

One particular highlight on the second day was the professional and compact presentation of the SmartAgri team, made possible by the official dress code support from PT Cendekia Prima Inovasi, which also served as the main sponsor. This collaboration strengthened SmartAgri's institutional image as a research unit that is adaptive, professional, and open to cross-sector synergy.

Through the interactions that took place, SmartAgri continues to expand its network of partnerships and create new spaces for collaboration in efforts to promote digital transformation in Indonesia's agricultural sector, particularly in tropical regions.
